How much is delivery?

Orders placed through our Providore include free delivery within 5km radius of Melbourne CBD. 

Delivery within 5-10km radius of Melbourne CBD is $10

Delivery within 10-20km radius of Melbourne CBD is $20

When should I place my order?
We need 2 business days notice please.

Orders for Friday, Saturday and Sunday need to be placed on the Wednesday prior.

Orders for Tuesday need to be placed on the Friday prior.

Orders for Wednesday need to be placed on the Monday prior.

Orders for Thursday need to be placed on the Tuesday prior.

We do not deliver on Monday's at the moment. 

Do you cater to dietary requirements?

Of course! Our platters can be modified to suit most dietary requirements. Let us know when you make the booking and we will do our best to cater to your requirements. 



How much is shipping?

$10 for standard shipping Australia wide. $20 for express Shipping Australia wide. 

When can I expect my order to ship?
All orders placed prior to 5pm, will be posted the next business day. 

Can I cancel or modify my order before it ships?
If we haven't posted it, absolutely! Email hello@theposhpicnic.com.au to modify your order before it ships.

How will I know when my order has shipped?
You will receive an order confirmation and tracking email from us when your item has been posted

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet!


What's your return policy?
While we do not accept Returns for ‘change of mind’, we will offer an exchange if the item has been unopened, unused and in the original packaging. Return postage is at the shipping cost of the purchaser.

If your product is faulty, or if the wrong product has been received email us at hello@theposhpalais.com.au and we make things right! 



How do Posh Picnics work?

  1. Submit a booking request at least 7 days to prior. We hope to get back to you within in 24 hours.

  2. We will send you an event plan so you know exactly what's included. Here you will have the opportunity to customise your set up, menu and styling. 

  3. Once we have tailored your event plan and you have approved it, you pay a deposit. 

  4. 10 days prior to the event you confirm numbers ,dietaries and pay the final payment.  

  5. We then prepare, pack and set up your event. 

  6. Arrive and enjoy your party!

  7. At the end of your booking time, we will come back and pack it all up for you. Totally fuss free!

Where do you deliver?

Delivery Locations: Abbotsford, Alphington, Carlton, Carlton North, Clifton Hill, Collingwood, East Melbourne, Fairfield, Fitzroy, Fitzroy North, Ivanhoe, Kew, Melbourne CBD, Northcote, Richmond.

We are always looking to spread our wings. If you're interested in a Posh Picnic but it's not in the listed locations, please contact us.

Do you do corporate events and parties?

Absolutely - they are our favourite! Contact us to chat about your event before you book so we can discuss your hopes and dreams.


What are your maximum numbers?

The more the merrier! Our standard maximum is 60 people but please contact us to arrange a larger group.


Do you cater to dietary requirements?

Of course! We can modify catering to suit most dietary requirements. Let us know when you make the booking and we will do our best to cater to your requirements. 


What happens if it rains?

We have a few rainy day options:​​

  1. ​If it's forecast to rain, we can change the date with three business days notice

  2. We can set up in a sheltered area of the park

  3. Or if it's particularly unpleasant we can set up in an inside venue (following government restrictions, of course). We have a list of inside venues we can use and we are happy to set up in homes and workplaces.

We can’t cancel on the day as the picnic fairies would have already begun crafting your picnic.

Can we cancel?

A lot goes into planning and preparing your party, but we understand sometimes things change. We're happy to reschedule or credit your booking with 7 days notice. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice are not eligible for a credit or rescheduling. If  government restrictions impact your event, we will work with you to reschedule or credit your booking, with no additional charge.
