Things to know about your Posh Picnic

How it works

  1. Submit a booking request at least 7 days to prior. We hope to get back to you within in 24 hours.

  2. We will send you an event plan so you know exactly what's included. Here you will have the opportunity to customise your set up, menu and styling. 

  3. Once we have tailored your event plan and you have approved it, you pay a deposit. 

  4. 10 days prior to the event you confirm numbers ,dietaries and pay the final payment.  

  5. We then prepare, pack and set up your picnic. At least 30 minutes prior to the time of your booking time we will message you the exact location of your picnic. 

  6. Arrive and enjoy your Posh Picnic!

  7. At the end of your picnic, we will come back and pack it all up for you. Totally fuss free!

We are always looking to spread our wings. If you're interested in a Posh Picnic but it's not in the listed locations, please contact us.

Corporate picnics and party picnics

This is what we are made for! We're more than happy to chat about your event before you book so we can discuss your hopes and dreams.

 

Numbers

The more the merrier! Our standard maximum is 60 people but please contact us to arrange a larger group.

 

Dietary requirements

Our picnics can be modified to suit most dietary requirements. Let us know when you make the booking and we will do our best to cater to your requirements. 

 

Rainy Days during COVID-19

We have a few rainy day options:

  1. If it's forecast to rain, we can change the date with three business days notice. 

  2. We can set up in a sheltered area of a park

  3. Or if it's particularly unpleasant we can set up in an inside venue (following government restrictions, of course). We have a list of inside venues we can use and we are happy to set up in homes and workplaces. 

We can’t cancel on the day as the picnic fairies would have already begun crafting your picnic.

 

Cancellations due to COVID-19 restrictions 

If your event can't go ahead due to a change in government restrictions, we are happy to pop the booking on hold or reschedule, at no extra cost.

Picnic games 

We provide picnic games with your Posh Picnic for added fun. We stock Quoits, Bocce, Finska and Croquet.

Cancellations

A lot goes into planning and preparing your party, but we understand sometimes things change. We're happy to reschedule or credit your booking with 7 days notice. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice are not eligible for a credit or rescheduling. If  government restrictions impact your event, we will work with you to reschedule or credit your booking, with no additional charge.
